In the late 18th century, Brighton was promoted as the ultimate
health resort, where one can breathe in the fresh sea air and bathe
in the fresh sea water. The wealthy of London leafy suburbs spent
weekends down here in sunny Brighton to unwind from the dusty city.
And to this day, they still arrive by the bus load to unwind and
chill out in Brighton’s magnificent surroundings. With over
200 years spent looking after its guests, Brighton really knows
how to look after their guests and show them a good time. Brighton
is no longer just for the well to do rich class, but all walks of
life can enjoy the great place that it is. Brighton is there to
be enjoyed and there never is anyone disappointed.
The accommodation in Brighton varies to suit every pocket from Youth
Hostels up to the more expensive luxury hotels. There is real quality
accommodation ranging from the cheap and cheerful guest houses to
the more extravagant luxury hotel. Wherever one plans to lay one’s
head, make sure you book in advance.
BRIGHTON CENTRAL
This area is easy to get around and its beside the sea. One can
stay in nice peaceful areas like Russell Square, where the High
street shopping district is only down the road and the seafront
only two minutes walking. A more grander square such as Regency
Square opens out to the sea and overlooking the West Pier. You
are bound to get a room with a sea view here.
THE SEAFRONT
Between the two piers is Kings Road which has many hotels located
here due to the spectacular view of the sea. From luxury accommodation
to more modest and affordable hotels here give the tourist a
great selection of hotels to choose from.
